Assignment of Military Bounty Lands, 1795 June 16.

Clinton turned over all lands due to him as a bounty from the United States government for his service during the American Revolution to the State of New York. The bounty claim, however, was disputed by the War Department and Clinton had to prove that he was entitled to the land.
